Brent Nosworthy

A graduate of McGill University in Montreal, Brent Nosworthy started his professional career as a game designer for SPI and OSG wargame companies. His intense interest in the nitty gritty of the Napoleonic battlefield led to the design of a highly detailed simulation of battlefield tactics during this era. Mr. Nosworthy has spent the last 47 years researching the evolution of battlefield tactics from the mid-fifteenth century up until the end the American Civil War. His first three books: The Anatomy of Victory, With Musket, Cannon and Sword, and the Bloody Crucible of Courage were met with great acclaim and are now widely considered classics.

Nosworthy is in the final stages of completing his Nosworthy’s Encyclopedia of Battlefield Tactics: 1453 – 1865, a highly detailed, multi volume work.
