David Congalton

David Congalton is an author, speaker, radio talk show host, and animal welfare advocate who lives on the Central Coast of California. He is the award-winning author of "Three Cats, Two Dogs: One Journey Through Multiple Pet Loss," co-author (with Charlotte Alexander) of "When Your Pet Outlives You: Protecting Animal Companions After You Die," and co-author (with Deborah Bayles) of "The Talk Radio Guest Book: How to be the Perfect Radio Guest."

He is also the author of the screenplay "Scribble," scheduled to be directed by Ellie Kanner.

The Congalton-Alexander compound currently includes dogs Ginger, Daisy Jane, and Oona, along with cats Tiberius, Alexander, Paulette, Tristan, Emma, and Hannah.
