Gorman Bechard is the author of six novels, THE SECOND GREATEST STORY EVER TOLD, UNWOUND (under the pseudonym Jonathan Baine), NINTH SQUARE, THE HAZMAT DIARY, GOOD NEIGHBORS, and BALLS
He is the director of 14 feature films including three rock documentaries: COLOR ME OBSESSED, A FILM ABOUT THE REPLACEMENTS, EVERY EVERYTHING: THE MUSIC, LIFE & TIMES OF GRANT HART, and WHAT DID YOU EXPECT? THE ARCHERS OF LOAF LIVE AT CAT'S CRADLE.
In November 2015 he won the ASPCA's Media Excellence award for his animal-rights film A DOG NAMED GUCCI.
He is also the director of the dark sexual dramas YOU ARE ALONE and BROKEN SIDE OF TIME, the romantic-comedy FRIENDS (WITH BENEFITS), and the cult horror comedy PSYCHOS IN LOVE
He has just completed his 4th rock doc WHO IS LYDIA LOVELESS? and is editing PIZZA, A LOVE STORY, which tell the tale of the only three pizza places in the world that matter: Sally's, Pepe's, and Modern, all located in his hometown of New Haven, where he lives with his wife Kristine, and their two dogs, Springsteen and Dylan.
