Scott W. Ambler

Scott W. Ambler is a father, husband, son, brother, and friend living in Toronto, Canada. Scott's professional passion is helping organizations improve their ways of working (WoW), particularly in the context of enterprise data. Scott is an international keynote speaker and trainer who has earned Masters degrees in information science (1994) and artificial intelligence (2025).

Scott's first book, The Object Primer, was published in 1995. Since then, he has either authored or co-authored 31 books about enterprise data, improving your WoW, enterprise agility, and various software processes.

Scott's personal hobbies include travel, restoring 8-bit Atari computers, and playing Dungeons and Dragons.
