Robert E. Gelinas

Robert E. Gelinas (Bob), entered the publishing industry in the early 1990's, initially as a novelist, having his first of many novels published by Simon & Schuster/Pocket Books. After spending over twenty successful years working in the High-Tech industry as a senior corporate executive, he left all that behind and struck out in 2003 to pursue his personal passion and love of storytelling by founding ArcheBooks Publishing.

When Bob isn't publishing and editing books, managing his editorial and production staff, directing sales and marketing campaigns, designing cover art and dust-jackets, expanding his distribution channels, dealing with authors and agents (a task akin to cat-herding), attending book conventions, teaching and lecturing on writing and publishing, giving interviews to print and broadcast media, developing proprietary software for ArcheBooks' online e-commerce system, or writing his own works, he's also an accomplished musician and plays regularly with his wife Joanna, who was a professional singer in her past. They enjoy performing for friends and local audiences in the community on occasion. Bob and Joanna are also wine aficionados, avid scuba divers, and billiard enthusiasts.
