John Boston

STARTING AS A PROFESSIONAL JOURNALIST AT 14, John Boston is the most prolific humorist/satirist in world history. He’s penned nearly 12,000 columns and more than 100,000-plus stories, books, blogs, reviews and articles.

Recipient of the prestigious Will Rogers Lifetime Achievement Award, the SoCal author has earned 100-plus major writing honors, including being named America’s best columnist, many times.

Author of the 5-star cult humor/horror bestseller, “Naked Came the Sasquatch,” Boston recently started his own publishing house: http://johnbostonbooks.com/. He’ll be offering an ever-growing list of series, like 1-Word Books, Inappropriate Books, Mondo Earth and, of course, his novels. “Naked Came the Novelist” is the long-awaited sequel to “Sasquatch.” Previously titled “The Melancholy Samurai,” the dystopian humor classic “Adam Henry,” is being re-released in November 2021.

Also released is the chilling and humorous 3-volume set, “Ghosts, Ghouls, Myths & Monsters — The Most Haunted Town in America.”

Boston enjoys horseback riding, fencing, weight lifting, travel, long-distance swimming (50-plus yards), and keeping company with his artist daughter, Indiana. Boston is a former NBC news director, movie star manager, ranch hand, radio talk show host, travel writer, newspaper editor, magazine editor, advertising executive and historian. As his childhood best friend Phil Lanier once accurately noted, Boston is a “…snappy dresser who doesn’t get in the way much.”
