An invitation to delve into some of the ideas of women and men who have revealed that existence must be lived within the canons of art. Drama, poetry, literature and art in general have repaired the risks of having an empty life. And the creator, by endowing these lives with art, gives them meaning. In fact, the artist's fear of mediocrity, of going unnoticed, of not developing their full potential, is clear. The premise that Juan Sahagún proposes in this valuable book is to delve into the concept of "turning artistic creativity into a way of life". It is essential that we have a firm strategy in order not to let ourselves be discouraged. So that, on the contrary, we know how to enjoy our passage through the world with creativity. Thus, these pages compile the wise ideas that some intellectuals and preclear minds have formulated in this regard. From Plato and Aristotle to Schopenhauer, Russell, Sartre and Foucault -and obviously hundreds of artists of all disciplines- have spoken about the need to live our lives as if we were designing a masterpiece. Patience, knowing how to wait, trusting in one's own art, building oneself daily, learning from setbacks, being grateful. These and some other concepts should be addressed in order to know how to make our life a true work of art.
