Original hand coloured engraving (26 x 42 cm.), on laid paper, drawn and engraved by Boydell. Particularly vivid and attractive contemporary hand-colouring, despite some signs of oxidisation to the sky. Very crisp and clean. Original engraving done by Boydell in 1752 before he turned from engraver to publisher having given up on his own artistic talents in about 1767. Issued by him in his "Collection of Views." in 1770, the plate here with serial number and price erased.
