Touch a Penis banner from Richard Newton solo exhibition at Jancar Gallery, 2011. As a run up to the Getty's Pacific Standard Time, Jancar Gallery exhibited work from the seventies by artist Richard Newton. This 84 x 60 inches banner replicates the advertorial placed on the wall at LAICA in 1977. The ad promoted Newton s upcoming live performance art piece Touch a Penis. Banner is printed on 14 oz Smooth Vinyl. It features photos of The Former Miss Barstow and photos from the live performance. The front is clean, with a few minor scuff and marks the are not very noticeable in the overall look of the piece. The back shows scuff marks from travel and hanging on the wall.
