A large sketch pad filled with more than fifty life studies by an unrecognized 20th century Maryland-based artist, Dick Kelih. One additional study, done on different paper, has been placed in the folio but not attached in any way. The first nine studies are painted; the rest are worked variously in charcoal, crayon, and graphite. They vary in completeness and level of detail, but all are produced in a loose, fluid style. Condition: good. A few pages have closed tears, and one has multiple closed and open tears. Some water staining to early pages, and all pages are yellowed with age.
