Original lithograph. Limited edition of 50. Signed in pencil. Image: 9 1/2 x 13 3/4"; Paper: 12 1/2 x 16 1/2". Tiny loss to one corner. Hinged on top corners of verso. "Alexander Kruse (1888-1972) was an Ashcan School-trained realist whose paintings, lithographs, etchings, and prints of New York City s working class were infused with empathy, theatricality, and wit, reflecting his belief that "art functions as entertainment."
