[2] Bll., S. 0-15, [2] Bll. Geheftet. - Die Organisation f�r direkte Demokratie durch Volksabstimmung war eine von den K�nstlern Joseph Beuys, Johannes St�ttgen und Karl Fastabend am 19. Juni 1971 in D�sseldorf gegr�ndete politische Organisation. Im Fr�hjahr 1970 mietete Joseph Beuys in der D�sseldorfer Altstadt ein Ladenlokal in der Andreasstrasse 25, das er als �ffentliches, f�r jedermann zug�ngliches Informations- und Aktionsb�ro einrichtete. Am 19. Juni 1971 erfolgte dort die Gr�ndung der Organisation f�r direkte Demokratie durch Volksabstimmung". Ein Jahr sp�ter stellte Beuys das B�ro der Organisation f�r direkte Demokratie durch Volksabstimmung" als seinen Beitrag zur Documenta 5 in Kassel auf und diskutierte dort 100 Tage lang �ber gesellschaftliche Gestaltungsfragen der direkten Demokratie und M�glichkeiten ihrer Verwirklichung. Die �ffentlichkeitswirksamkeit der documenta trug zur Bekanntheit der Organisation bei. Abschlie�end wurde am 8. Oktober der Boxkampf f�r direkte Demokratie durch Volksabstimmung" aufgef�hrt, in der Beuys gegen Abraham David Christian k�mpfte. Danach wurde das Informationsb�ro in Kassel geschlossen.
