About this Item
6 1/2 high x 5 dia. Black design of rabbits and squares on a blue background. Macario is credited with inventing the graphite black-pot technique. This particular pot does not use this technique. He has also experimented with green and blue colors of which this is one. He has traveled in the Unite States many times for exhibitions. His success enabled him to build the first two-story house in Mata Ortiz. This pot has no flaws, chips, cracks, or repairs; however in removing a 1 x 2 inch museum price sticker on the bottom, considerable dmage was done to the surface (see photo). SIGNED by Macario on the bottom. Seller Inventory # 4012
