About this Item
Original etching 10 x 9 cm in 22 x 25 cm glazed mount, showing a dock scene at low water. Drawn by Alexander McLintoch (1903-1968), the noted historian and biographer (editor of the 3 volume Encyclopedia of New Zealand published in 1966). McLintoch was also active in the NZ art scene, and exhibited his drawings in NZ and Europe. He was trained at the Dunedin School of Art in Dunedin in his early ears. Seller Inventory # 018734
