Look Back in Anger is a 1962 vintage Hungarian movie poster Film adaptation of the classic John Osborne play Look Back in Anger 1956 is a realist play written by John Osborne It focuses on the life and marital struggles of an intelligent and educated but disaffected young man of working class origin Jimmy Porter and his equally competent yet impassive upper middle class wife Alison The supporting characters include Cliff Lewis an amiable Welsh lodger who attempts to keep the peace and Helena Charles Alison s snobbish friend Osborne drew inspiration from his personal life and failing marriage with Pamela Lane while writing Look Back in Anger which was his first successful outing as a playwright The play spawned the term angry young men to describe Osborne and those of his generation who employed the harshness of realism in the theatre in contrast to the more escapist theatre that characterised the previous generation This harsh realism has led to Look Back in Anger being considered one of the first examples of kitchen sink drama in theatre The play was received favorably in the theatre community becoming an enormous commercial success transferring to the West End and Broadway and even touring to Moscow It is credited with turning Osborne from a struggling playwright into a wealthy and famous personality and also won him the Evening Standard Drama Award as the most promising playwright of 1956 The play was adapted into a motion picture of the same name by Tony Richardson starring Richard Burton and Mary Ure which was released in 1959 source wikipedia org Fine, fold marks, light creasing.…

Budapest Poster Gallery is the only vintage poster gallery that specializes in fine Hungarian vintage posters and commercial graphic design from between 1890 and 1990. We are very proud to offer a selection of truly great posters, that are not available anywhere else. We are dealing exclusively in original posters. You can find all types of posters in our gallery, including commercial and movie posters, propaganda, travel, and much more. Budapest Poster Gallery was founded by Adam Varkonyi in 2010.
Since then, we’ve been working to help collectors in finding the posters they are looking for. Our gallery is specialized in dealing with Hungarian vintage posters. There are two main reasons for this. First, we believe that Hungarian poster art is absolutely amazing and world class, yet relatively less known today. Second, you can find other nations’ posters in countless galleries worldwide, but we are the only ones who offer a wide selection of the spectacular Hungarian posters from the 20th century.
The selection presented on our website is only a part of the whole collection. If you are looking for a particular poster, genre, style, decade or subject matter, we would be happy to help you find it, or we might already have it. Just e-mail us, provide details about your interest, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer you can withdraw from the contract in accordance with the following. Consumer means any natural person who is acting for purposes which are outside his trade, business, craft or profession.
Information regarding the right of withdrawal
Statutory right to withdraw
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good or the last lot or piece.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, electronically fill in and submit a clear statement on our website, under "My Purchases" in "My Account". We will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to Budapest Poster Gallery, Budapest, Hungary, +36 306627274, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- The delivery of newspapers, journals or magazines with the exception of subscription contracts; and
- The supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g. on a CD or DVD) if you accepted when you placed your order that we could start to deliver it, and that you could not withdraw once delivery had started.
