About this Item

From Ackermann's Microcosm of London here is a hand coloured aquatint, J. C. Stadler was the engraver, Rowlandson and Pugin the designers/artists. Measures just 10 inches x 12 inches, 25 x 30 cm approx. Published Dec 1st 1808. Unframed and a single image from the book, Colours bright, depicts 5 clergymen in discussions in old beamed arched ceiling room, several small spot marks at margin and one brown spot that is at lower edge of the actual print, but doesn't show in image. Very Good.

We very rarely use "fine" or "mint" as a description, mainly due to the age and the fact that 99.9% of what we sell has been pre-owned and therefor Fine would not be a term for a book we sell despite its fine-like appearance. We always take items back unreservedly if not in the condition as described. We always try to describe fully.
