Item description from seller
Portfolio only, does not include catalog book that was issued with it originally. Limited printing. No. 287 of 500 published in 1927. The 14 x 10.75 inch clamshell brown cardboard case shows wear on extremities, else very good. Inside is a cardboard slipcase with 3 flaps. The front and back of the cover of the slipcase is decorated in gray/green. It shows some very light foxing but corners are sharp and there are no other signs of wear. Rough translation of the title is "Fashionable Picture Collection: Eight Parlor Views. Produced by Kyosen." Eight (8) Zashiki Hakkei reproductions inside the slipcase are mounted on sheets of cream colored, light cardboard. They show varying amounts of light to moderate foxing. However, the colors are bright and condition of each otherwise is very good-.
