About this Item

11.5" x 17.5" folded poster illustrated in b/w with blue accent, plus a loose letter penned by Jagger and an additional inkjet printout of a sculpture by the artist. Poster with minimal wear - chiefly some very discreet wrinkles and trivial rubbing. Letter bright. Printout somewhat more creased. This poster promoted an exhibition by Gillian Jagger in 1995, whose title is variously indicated as "Conatus: An Entity's Endeavoring to Persist in their Being", - a philosophical concept introduced by Baruch Spinoza, "Conadus", and "Presence, Absence".
