About this Item

Mixed media with tissue overlay. Titled and signed. Annotated "bon a tirer."40 x 30 inches. Chris Cox is an abstract artist. She was selected to be the featured artist for Bluestone at the inaugural Philadelphia Fine Art Fair held in 2019. She was also one of seven artists featured by Bluestone in the Hamptons Virtual Art Fair in September 2020. Recently, Chris had two paintings selected for Woodmere Art Museum's 79th Annual Juried Exhibition. Her work was also chosen to be in Abington Art Center's 2020 Fall Solo SeriesChris has had eight solo exhibitions. She also has had many paintings in regional juried shows. In 2018, Chris had three paintings selected for one of the movie sets for the film Creed II. Her work was also selected for Art of the State 2015 and an Invitational Exhibition at the Art Association of Harrisburg.News articles about the artist and her work have appeared in local and regional publications. Chris also co-authored an article that was published in Professional Artist Magazine.She has been a member of Tri-State Artist Equity and a Professional Artist Member at Main Line Art Center. Chris' paintings are in private collections in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Michigan, Rhode Island, Florida, Washington and Alaska.Provenance: Suzy R. Locke & Associates, Oakland.

Shipping Costs: For books within the US: Ground UPS $8 for first volume, $4 for each additional volume. Heavy volumes cost more. Prints and posters $20.00 for 1-3. Most foreign shipments by airmail are $17.00 up to 1 pound or $60.00 up to 2.2 kilos by courier. For all other shipments, please inquire.

UPS shipments are insured for $100.00 automatically. Higher amounts available. If merchandise is damaged in transit, customer must save shipping container and file a claim with UPS or other carrier. Do not return merchandise without having first filed the claim and received a return authorization.
