A Hand Coloured aquatint of the interior of the Council Chamber at the Guildhall in London.From the work "Microcosm of London". Print browned due to having been framed once, but not displeasing, small split at right hand edge, no loss, plate line visible and good margins, on J. Whatman hand made paper dated 1806. Measures 13 x 11 inches [32 x 29 cm]. Edge to edge.

We are a small, single-owner business. We have been operating on and off since 1977 and our stock is varied, leaning towards antiquarian and 19th century with the addition of original aquatint and lithographic, or woodcut engravings. Also maps and Ephemera - in fact, anything interesting on paper really. We have in stock every item we list. We do not use stock photographs, but photograph each item individually. We very rarely use "fine" or "mint" as a description, mainly due to the age and the fact that 99.9% of what we sell has been pre-owned and therefor Fine would not be a term for a book we sell despite its fine-like appearance. We always take items back unreservedly if not in the condition as described. We always try to describe fully.
