The scarce original large print from an 1877 edition of The Graphic. A large church(?) bell is laid on its side whilst a violinist assists the bellfounder, hammer in hand. The image has humorous elements: a dog is looking suspiciously into the bell and a boy copies the violinist with bellows and a stick. The image is from a picture by Walter Shirlaw and bears his signature. Image size: 22.5cm by 30cm. The image is degraded and cropped but the original is complete and a quality pin sharp engraving.
