Poster,Atelier Populaire, La Chienlit c est lui!, France, 1968. 568x441 mm. 1st edition. Screen printed black on cream stock. No edition size given. The silhouette of the figure with raised arms is a depiction of Charles de Gaulle. The caption references a scatalogical pun used by him during the May 1968 student demonstration to describe the chaos of the era, where he said "La r�forme, oui. La chienlit, non". His pun has been modified and addressed back at him. One of the most famous protest prints of the era. Rare. Condition: some toning to edges as seen, no tears or creases. VG++.
