22x34cm. Full hand colour. Excellent condition. Rare wood engraving from Louis Wain s time as illustrator at the Illustrated Sporting and Dramatic News. His drawings for the Illustrated London News are far more common. - Louis William Wain (1860-1939), British animal illustrator and caricaturist, who drew cats (and dogs) in humorous guises in human situations.
