Jan Gillisz van Vliet (1605 1668), was a Dutch Golden Age painter and Rembrandt pupil, whose paintings are no longer attributed to him with any certainty. Today he is known only for his drawings and prints.Condition: Good, given age. Some crinkles and creases. Some tiny worm holes, hardly visible on recto. Paper loss top right corner; backed. A few small spots. Acidification due to ink used for lettering causing paper breakage and small holes. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Pictura Prints offers mostly antique prints, art, maps and books. Since 2004 the owner Peter Cornelissen started Theprintscollector and has been in business as a print and book seller. In 2018 he decided to further develop his personal collection through 'Pictura Prints'. Peter has a background in design and landscape architecture and holds a degree in paper restauration. He holds shop in Overasselt, a small town on the Maas river near Nijmegen, The Netherlands, which can be visited by appointment. He is a member of the Dutch Association of Antiquarians (NVVA) and the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB).

We ship worldwide and package our items meticulously. We carry an umbrella insurance policy. Our shipment rates are based on shipments up to 1 kg. For heavier shipments we will contact you with a quote. Currently our surcharge for international shipments over 1 kg is 9,14 euro / kg. In addition POST NL temporarly charges 3,60 euro per kg due to CORONA related logistics. We ship by registered mail through POST NL. Expedited shipping or shipment through another carrier is available on request at a possible surcharge.
