It shows: A view of a volcanic mountain, with a path leading to the top, and a lake at the base. This original antique print originates from Rees' 'The Cyclopaedia. or, Universal Dictionary opf Arts, Sciences and Literature'. This important 19th-century encyclopedic work was published in serialized form from 1802 to 1820. The entire Cyclopaedia consisted of 39 volumes of text, 5 volumes of plates and an atlas.Artists and Engravers: Engraved by Storer after Sydenham Teast Edwards.Condition: Very good, given age. In 2018 he decided to further develop his personal collection through 'Pictura Prints'. Peter has a background in design and landscape architecture and holds a degree in paper restauration. He holds shop in Overasselt, a small town on the Maas river near Nijmegen, The Netherlands, which can be visited by appointment. He is a member of the Dutch Association of Antiquarians (NVVA) and the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB).
