The image size is ca. 5.5 x 7.9 inch.Antique print, titled: 'Parri Spinelli Pittore Aretino.' - A portrait of Parri Spinelli (ca. 1387� "1453), an Italian (Tuscan) painter of the early renaissance who was born in the Province of Arezzo. The image actually consists of two engravings: the portrait proper and the decorated border. Both are printed from separate plates. Originally made for Giorgio Vasari's "Le vite de' piu eccellenti pittori, scultori, architettori", first published 1550. This appears to be a later edition.Artists and Engravers: Made by an anonymous engraver after 'Giorgio Vasari'.Condition: Good, given age. Small stains in margin. Creasing in the lower edge of the sheet. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Pictura Prints offers mostly antique prints, art, maps and books. Since 2004 the owner Peter Cornelissen started Theprintscollector and has been in business as a print and book seller. In 2018 he decided to further develop his personal collection through 'Pictura Prints'. Peter has a background in design and landscape architecture and holds a degree in paper restauration. He holds shop in Overasselt, a small town on the Maas river near Nijmegen, The Netherlands, which can be visited by appointment. He is a member of the Dutch Association of Antiquarians (NVVA) and the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB).

We ship worldwide and package our items meticulously. We carry an umbrella insurance policy. Our shipment rates are based on shipments up to 1 kg. For heavier shipments we will contact you with a quote. Currently our surcharge for international shipments over 1 kg is 9,14 euro / kg. In addition POST NL temporarly charges 3,60 euro per kg due to CORONA related logistics. We ship by registered mail through POST NL. Expedited shipping or shipment through another carrier is available on request at a possible surcharge.
