Description: This attractive original old antique print / plate originates from: 'Beschrijving van �s Gravenhage.', by Mr.Jacob Riemer (1676-1762), published in Delft by Reinier Boitet, 1730. With many beautiful engravings from imported buildings, churches, monasteries, manors and castles from Gerrit van Giessen (1692-1750) and Jan Caspar Phillips (1700-1765). Artists and Engravers: Author: Mr. Jacob de Riemer (1676-1762) Is the author of the most famous description of Hague in the 18th century. Gerrit van Giesen(1692-1750), Reinier Boitet (1680-1750) Condition: Excellent given age. General age related toning and occasional light staining. Paper edges a bit frayed, chipped, browned.
