Antique print, titled: 'Taking up a fare.' - The patent safety with its new drivers. Published by Thomas McLean. Lithograph on wove (vellin) paper. Made by 'John Doyle' after own design. John Doyle (1797-1868) originated from Dublin. He worked on a large series of satirical lithographs between 1829 and 1851. Good, given age. Ample margins, a few small tears in paper edges.
