The Ancient Forum was the center of political, commercial, and religious life in ancient Rome, and it is home to many well-preserved ruins, including temples, basilicas, and triumphal arches. The Circus Maximus, on the other hand, was the largest stadium in ancient Rome and was used for chariot races, gladiatorial contests, and other public events. The Ancient Forum was the heart of the Roman Empire, and it was here that many of the most important decisions in Roman history were made. The ruins of the Forum include the Temple of Saturn, the Arch of Titus, the Basilica of Maxentius, and the Rostra, among many others.
