About the Authors

Diego Aranega est n� en 1970 d'une m�re croate et d'un p�re pied noir espagnol. En 1976 et pour 10 francs, il vend son premier dessin � un camarade de classe, il en tire une satisfaction intense qui ne durera que quelques heures puisque ses parents l'obligeront � rendre sa pi�ce d�s le lendemain. De cette transaction avort�e lui restera un sentiment d'inachev� qu'il oubliera en 1994, quand apr�s des �tudes aux Beaux Arts il commencera � vendre ses dessins � de nombreux journaux tels que Lib�ration, XL le magazine, T�l�rama, Le Monde, Le JDD, Strat�gies, SVM Mac, La Vie, Sin� Hebdo, Fluide Glacial, Mens Health, 60 millions de consommateurs, etc. L'amplitude de son champ d'action l'am�ne � d�cliner son univers pour l'�dition jeunesse (Bayard Presse, Nathan, Albin Michel Jeunesse) les agences de pub (Publicis, Young & Rubicam), le net (www.diegorama.com) et la bande dessin�e avec ses s�ries VICTOR LALOUZ, CASIERS JUDICIAIRES, ou encore OGGY et les Cafards.

Christophe Salomon, dit Chric (ou, parfois, Cric), d�couvre la bande dessin�e avec "Ast�rix, Gladiateur", et, depuis lors, s'empresse de d�vorer toutes les planches qui lui tombent sous la main. Apr�s quelques essais infructueux de devenir dessinateur, il r�alise qu'il lui reste toujours une immense passion � partager, et il ouvre une librairie sp�cialis�e � Grenoble, sa ville natale. Publiant de nombreux ex-libris in�dits, il se fait tr�s vite appr�cier des lecteurs comme des auteurs, au point que ces derniers font volontiers appel � lui pour sc�nariser quelques planches, � l'instar de Phil Castaza, qui illustre son ""R�cit d'un si�cle oubli�. Grand ami de Laurent Verron, il signe avec ce dernier des participations aux collectifs Edith Piaf et L�o Ferr�. Et lorsque le dessinateur de "Boule et Bill" a besoin de quelqu'un pour commenter ses "Petits d�lires", "Au fil du zinc", c'est naturellement � son libraire pr�f�r� qu'il pense ! Leur collaboration continue avec "Fugitifs sur Terra II" (Dargaud) et il sc�narise �galement des gags de "Boule et Bill" pour son ami. Cric nous a quitt�s le 19 juin 2020.

Parolier de Jacques Brel, son cousin chanteur et plombier dans la Ni�vre, il �crit aussi pour le caf�-th��tre et la t�l�vision. Depuis une dizaine d'ann�es, il sc�narise des s�ries comme Baker Street, Bienvenue chez les Ch'tis, Blake et Mortimer (Philip et Francis), Boule et Bill... s'interdisant formellement de travailler sur quelque chose qui ne commence pas par B.

La vie de Roba bascule une premi�re fois, lorsqu'il adopte Bill, son premier cocker ? il en aura sept ! La seconde fois, lorsqu'il pousse la porte du "Journal de Spirou" et abandonne son poste de publicitaire. Il cr�e alors "Boule et Bill". La suite est connue : leur succ�s sera exceptionnel. Alors que Roba a toujours cherch� � diversifier son travail, se consacrant � "La Ribambelle" ou � quelques autres projets plus ponctuels, il reviendra toujours � "Boule et Bill", qui restera tout � la fois l'oeuvre de sa vie, et une grande oeuvre.

Laurent Verron est n� � Grenoble en 1962. Apr�s un bref passage dans une agence de pub, il rejoint Bruxelles et devient l'assistant de Roba. Entre 1991 et 1994, il dessine les trois tomes du "Maltais" (Lefrancq) d'apr�s un sc�nario de Lou Durand. � partir de 1996, il travaille avec Yann sur "Les Exploits d'Odilon Verjus" (Le Lombard). En 2003, Roba lui confie "Boule & Bill".

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

Effects of withdrawal

We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to Sell Books, LONDON, United Kingdom, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
