A luminous, philosophical Australian novel. Nicholls blends narrative, memory and meditation as her characters search for meaning in a world shaped by desire, loss and the pull of the past. The novel moves between inner and outer landscapes, exploring how people construct identity and belonging. Stylistically bold, reflective and quietly intense.
