First Editions. Quartos. A series of three complementary artist's books created by Wade Guyton to accompany exhibitions in Cologne (Museum Ludwig, Apr. 23 - Aug. 22, 2010), Vienna (Secession, May 27 - Aug. 21, 2011), and Zurich (Kunsthalle Zürich, Aug. 31 - Nov. 10, 2013). Each of the volumes functioning as pseudo-flip books, with Guyton shooting piles of his exhibited "drawings" (i.e. overprinted pages that he tore from art history books) against the glossy kitchen floors of his studio-painted blue, red, and yellow, respectively; the top sheet of the pile removed with each turn of the page. Fine copies in illustrated wrappers, with fine matching jackets. Seller Inventory # 30005
