The individual issue covers are not bound-in. The June 9 issue includes the first commercial publication by Robinson Jeffers - a poem entitled "The Condor". Plus many articles and fiction by the authors & figures of the day, including: H. Rider Haggard ("The Small Farm in England"); Jack London ("Banks of the Sacramento"); Helen Keller (The Spirit of Easter"); Hamlin Garland- a series in 3-issues ("Little Squatters") ; Margaret Sangster; Clinton Dangerfield (Ella Howard Bryan); L. M. Montgomery - poem; etc. Many ads, and including an ~36-page ad section in the Oct 20 issue, with many picture ads of books, optical equipment, sporting goods, weapons, tools, personal care goods, household goods, jewelry, toys & games, etc. Edgewear, with wear at the corners and a bit at the spine extremities. Couple chips in the spine. Some surface rubbing, scratches. Page edges age-darkened. A bit of light foxing in the margins of a few pages. Light, horizontal creases where the issues were folded at one time. Small chip in the top edge margin of a few pages - not affecting text. Else the pages are clean.
