My Yoga Logbook was created to improve your yoga outcomes through a new habit of mindfulness. It's tool to improve anyone's yoga practice, from a first-timer just starting out to a long-time practitioner seeking to climb beyond a plateau. You simply log each session's data in a fast, friendly checkbox row. You'll enjoy using My Yoga Logbook to review and 'take credit' for your efforts. Once you start using My Yoga Logbook it will soon become a healthy habit!
My Yoga Logbook records 200 yoga sessions, each with its own row and detailed prompts. Recording requires just filling in fun visual checkboxes. Record all the significant factors of your practice such as:
* How you felt during and after class
* Instructor rigor and tips
* Effort and how you felt
* Technique, balance and flex
* Personal Records achieved
The lead author is a data scientist by day and a hot yoga practitioner for several years (usually by night). He found that yoga requires consistent practice to efficiently advance and to achieve results. And that those results once achieved can be significant and health-altering - for example re-balancing body motions after injury, and increasing core strength and spine range of motion.As a data scientist studying program outcomes, he has seen that motivation and frequency is key. So this book was created to build and maintain your motivation through the satisfaction and mindfulness of logging every session.
All the info categories have been honed through years of 3-ring binder drafts of this book and years of actual practice (by a very imperfect yogi!).
* Every 50 sessions, there is a prompt page for mindful review of trends and patterns - for example your frequency of practice correlating to your session performance.
* Conveniently sized to take with you in your gym bag.
* With a 2-page layout, it takes just a glance and a couple of minutes to fill in its wide range of info for each yoga session.
* Unique visual checkboxes have been carefully designed, specifically for yoga practice and for mindfulness. Their visual nature is what makes My Yoga Logbook fun and easy!
Once you start using My Yoga Logbook, you'll feel compelled to never miss logging a session. From that point forward, the types of data recorded and human nature will work together towards consistency and improvement of your practice - and your results.
