Paperback. The central character in THE YEAR I WAS GROUNDED likes baseball, crunching carrots, playing the trumpet in the school band and anything to do with water. Not quite telling the truth earns him: You're grounded!' And then things change. Over the year that follows, the world's truths turn out to be more fascinating than ever imagined, and 'grounding' takes a different form as he begins to grow up. Consisting of word puzzles, a series of poems and a diary, the book will engage young readers and young-at-heart adults alike.' A year of growing up, reflected in word puzzles, poems and diary entries. Shipping may be from multiple locations in the US or from the UK, depending on stock availability.
