Black cloth hard covers with silver lettering on the spine which is bright. Light shelf wear and soiling on the covers. Foxing to page ends. Text is clean and unmarked. Hinges are tight. Illustrated dj is in a protective mylar cover with very light shelf wear. "Settled by the Supreme Court in 1810 this was the first of a long line of contract cases but also the one whose assumptions fathered the key doctrines under which its successor cases were decided. It followed gigantic, fraudulent speculation in Yazoo River lands." All books are individually examined and described. Never ex-lib unless stated.
