Add to basketVintage Cloth Hardback book with Dust Jacket. Book is a First Edition listed Second Printing from 1956, as the Dust Jacket has the original $1.50 price at the top of the inside front flap. Book itself is in Very Good condition with a tight binding and mostly clean crisp pages. Inside text appears to have had little use but the second half of the book has bent upper right hand corners- these are not deep bends that someone did to mark a place- it appears that the top page corners got bent back in mass and that is what shows- this is NOT a major issue. Outside cloth covers are very nice with a small white mark in the lower right hand edge of the front cover- again this IS minor. Dust Jacket is in Very Good to Very Good Minus condition with some minor soiling primarily to the back cover with some edge chipping and small missing edge pieces primarily to the top and bottom of the outside spine. Some small edge tears and creases. Dust Jacket is NOT price clipped (150/150). This is a less common title in the wonderful Landmark series. Wyatt Earp U. S. Marshal Landmark Book. Landmark Books and World Landmark Books are accurate, in-depth stories for young people in the 9-15 year old range. These living histories were written by award-winning authors or by men and women who experienced the events first hand. Written during the 1950's and 1960's and illustrated either with two-color drawings or clear photographs, the books are informative, enjoyable, and well worth reading and collecting. Landmark Book #67 Wyatt Earp U. S. Marshal The name of Wyatt Earp ranks as high in the history of the Old West as the names of Davy Crockett, Wild Bill Hickok, and Buffalo Bill Cody, for Wyatt Earp was possibly the greatest gunfighter the Old West ever knew. You'll find this true story of the Old West as exciting as anything you have ever read. Non-Library book that has come from a private collection.
