Ben is a former kindergarten teacher who applied on a dare and walks in like he took a wrong turn into a boardroom. He brings caffeine, chaos, and gold-star energy, and he is completely unbothered by Mara's title, her attitude, or her curves. Honestly, it's really infuriating. And really charming. Mara cannot afford a distraction. Not with her company watching and her reputation on the line.
But the more Ben shows up with steady kindness and unexpected competence, the harder it gets to remember why this is such a bad idea. Late nights at the office turn into something she looks forward to, and suddenly the queen of keeping everyone at arm's length is laughing out loud at his terrible jokes.
This funny, uplifting workplace romance is a laugh-out-loud romantic comedy about opposites who can't seem to stay away from each other. It's the perfect slow-burn, closed-door rom-com for fans who love sweet tension, a plus-size heroine discovering that the right person sees everything she's been hiding, and a forbidden office dynamic that feels anything but wrong.
Because the wrong Ben might be the first thing that feels right.
