Each volume illustrated with several black and white photogravure plates, and a colour frontispiece. Contemporary maroon three-quarter morocco, with raised bands, gilt titles and decoration to spines, and 'morris' marbled paper over boards. Top edges gilt; others untrimmed, and 'morris' marbled endpapers. Gently toned throughout, otherwise internally crisp and clean. Very slight sunning to spines, and a hint of minor wear, otherwise a stunning, crisp, near fine set.
