Hardcover. The first attempt at a federal government is floundering. Representatives gather in Philadelphia to make changes. Instead, a new form of government arises, and with it, the framework for what would become the most powerful nation in the world. Experience the writing of the U.S. Constitution through first-hand accounts. The History Perspectives series uses primary and secondary sources, along with narrative retelling, to highlight the perspectives of three different people of a particular time and place. Readers are prompted to compare perspectives and motivations and to think critically about how we tell the stories of the past. Shipping may be from our Sydney, NSW warehouse or from our UK or US warehouse, depending on stock availability.
