ABOUT AL ROCHELEAU
“His poetics draws from the root of things where there is no room for pretense … his experiments combining the sadly lost sound palette of past centuries with the space and dynamics of modern free verse, are pioneering … a powerful voice in American poetry and its allied arts.” Maurice Methot, Professor, Media Arts, Emerson College
“Al is one of only three people on the planet who I’ll take notes from! That’s because he has always been and continues to be one of the finest poets I know.” Maggie Pierce Secara, M.A., English Literature, Teacher, Poet, Novelist
“He is considered one of the internet’s foremost advocates and teachers of new and advancing poets … his command of the art and craft of poetry informs his work and enlightens those who read it.” Barbara Quinn, Founder, Past Publisher and Managing Editor, Rose and Thorn
… a serious writer who is thoughtful about his craft … he produces poetry of substance and verve.” Stephen Caldwell Wright, Ph.D., Professor, English and Creative Writing, Seminole State College
