Professor Atwill is the author of Rhetoric Reclaimed: Aristotle and the Liberal Arts Tradition.

James A. W. Heffernan, Professor of English and Professor in the Art of Writing at Dartmouth College, has published extensively on English Romantic poetry and on the relation between literature and visual art.
