5-1/16" x 7-3/4", xii + 148pp + 1p publisher's advertising. Printed on acidic paper, with commensurate tanning. Bound in gathered signatures with printed card stock cover. Moderate shelf wear, soiling to cover. Binding is square and tight. One previous owner's name in ink on front end paper, and another previous owner's name in ink on half title. Pages are otherwise clean and unmarked.

Canada's oldest independent bookstore, the People's Co-operative Bookstore Association was formed in 1945 by a broad coalition of Vancouver's progressive movements, from trade unionists and Marxists to social democrats and Christian social justice activists. Owned and operated by its member-shareholders, it is a registered co-op operating under the Co-operative Associations Act of British Columbia. Anyone can join. Since 1983, the People's Co-op Bookstore has been located at 1391 Commercial, in the heart of Commercial Drive.
