Item description from seller

6" x 8-1/2", (viii) + 309pp. Sewn binding in black cloth-covered boards, with title block stamped on spine and design stamped on front. Dust jacket is worn, with a 1/2" chip out of the middle of the bottom of the front cover, a 1/2" tear from the top of the front cover near the fore edge, a larger chip out of the top at the spine and, which smaller chips at the bottom of the spine and back cover, as well as a smaller tear from the top of the cover. Cover is faded / soiled near the top of the spine, where it lacked protection as a result of the damage to the jacket. Except for a small amount of fading towards the margins, the cover is otherwise clean and unfaded. Binding leans slightly but remains sound and tight. Previous owner's name in ink on front free end paper, otherwise pages are gently age toned but clean and unmarked.
