About the Author: Kyle Garlett has been a sportswriter since his days as a journalism student at the University of Missouri in the early 1990s. He has also written for two of the biggest names in sports, FoxSports.com and ESPN The Magazine. Before beginning his life as a freelancer in November of 2004, Kyle was the Senior Writer at Fox Sports Net, and wrote for the award-winning Best Damn Sports Show, Period and The Ultimate Fantasy Football Show, featuring 2006 Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee Warren Moon. Kyle has also taken turns as a sports producer at KCOP-TV (UPN) and KCBS-TV in Los Angeles, and was once the television play-by-play voice for Azusa Pacific University and Long Beach City College -- calling broadcasts of football, basketball, and volleyball.
