Paperback. With the seventeenth century half over, and with so many of her comrades freshly dead and buried, Glenna, captain of the Cecilio, is aware her chances for revenge are slim, battling an opponent versed in the dark arts, sailing rough seas and trade routes. As leader of this cursed voyage, she knows her ship might never deliver justice before they die. Losing those closest to her to vile rituals and suffering from haunting nightmares is why she still hunts the treacherous occultist, Nisa, and her invincible gothic ship, Kayla. It's also why they look everywhere for Nisa's companion, the strange mystic child, Corliss.Glenna is willing to spend time and gold and bribe her way to answers, but she has sworn to those maimed and traumatized that if she ever crosses paths with that woman again, the murderous witch will burn. And Glenna will make sure she burns slowly. After what she has endured, after what they have all survived, it is no surprise that Glenna's thoughts are so dark. Her future has been violently upended by otherworldly atrocities, but with a little luck and a stab or two of lunacy, she might just end The Worship of Bloodlines. Entangled in the dark world of the occult, Corliss has no choice but to prepare herself to master the second pillar, fully unaware that something darker might be nipping at her heels already.
