A bright, Near Fine copy of The World of Salt Shakers, Second Edition, published by Collector Books, a division of Schroeder Publishing (Paducah, Kentucky). Originally issued in 1992 and here produced with the 1996 updated valuation data, this authoritative reference surveys antique and art-glass salt shakers with extensive color photography and detailed maker attributions. The volume documents the output of major American and European glasshouses including Mount Washington, Pairpoint, and Phoenix and provides historical context alongside collector-oriented commentary. The glossy maroon pictorial boards are clean, unfaded, and free of notable wear; binding remains tight, and the interior is crisp and unmarked. As typical of Collector Books publications, no dust jacket was issued. This edition includes the publisher's standard reference features: identification notes, comparative examples, and valuation guidance reflecting mid-1990s market conditions. Because Collector Books did not employ number lines, the 'Values Updated 1996' notice identifies this as a later printing of the Second Edition.…
