Item description from seller

Hardback. Dust wrapper over ; Measures 9½" x 6¾" (0.9 kg); pp 356; Cover art by Ben Santora; This one-volume history of the Second World War is a concise, forthright battle-by-battle account A narrative of action, A World in Flames dwells on what happened more than on why it happened. In this respect it is a military history rather than a political one, but the military action is set in the broad perspective of the political background. With a new preface, introduction, appendix I and bibliography. || The book is on the shelf, ready to be appropriately packed, and posted from the pastoral paradise of Peasedown St. John, Bath, by a real bookseller in a real book shop - with my personal guarantee and beady eye on the Consumer Contracts Regulations. REMEMBER! Buying my copy means the book shop Jack Russells get their supper! My Book #160244 ||.

Store description

BookLovers of Bath is based in the rural idyll of Peasedown St. John in Somerset (God's Own Country) in the south west of England and actually very nearly in Bath. After 20 years of being “internet only” I have now opened a shop, Fact or Fable, in the premises of our now-closed Post Office. With over 10,000 books in my, recently shrunken, storage unit and another 5,000 or so in the shop I run an old-fashioned book business with every book listed, graded, picked, packed and posted by my own fair hand… abetted by my Jack Russells who are really, not, helpful.…

Specialty

The Preservation of Green Laning in England, The Care & Support of Jack Russells, The Ritual Observation of the Great British Tradition of the Friday Night Beer
