All media is represented in a rich display: watercolour, pen and ink, oil, and pastel. This book has wide-ranging appeal and will be loved by all fairy fans, children and fantasy art enthusiasts. Contributors include Amy Brown, Linda Ravenscroft, Hazel Brown, Myrea Pettit, Stephanie Pui-Mun Law, Linda Biggs, Josephine Wall, and many more.

David Riche set up a website dedicated to fairy art initially as a hobby in 1999. Driven by the discovery of talented and creative artists worldwide this website became a full-time occupation - a search for inspired and inspiring individuals with a flair and passion for their fairy art. Alan Lee is one of the most popular fantasy illustrators in the world. He has worked with Brian Froud and his work adorns the covers of many fantasy novels, including The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
