Three quarter dark brown leather over brown textured cloth covered boards; gilt spine titles with 5 raised bands to spine; black & white design illustrations throughout. Chipping and rubbing to leather portions of boards, with scattered blemishes, slight ghosting to front; interior foxed, significantly so in places, esp. to endpapers. A very good copy. Still a tight, sound, unmarked example of this collection of design elements for "the useful arts" of the later 19th century.
